UPM donates 100,000 Euros for the new children’s hospital in Helsinki

(UPM, Helsinki, 4 April, 2014, at 10:00 EET) – UPM has decided to donate 100.000 Euros for the new children’s hospital in Helsinki, Finland. UPM sees the importance of this project and wants to carry its responsibility for the future of children and youngsters in Finland. 

The New Children’s Hospital 2017 Project aims to raise funds worth 30 million Euros as donations from companies, foundations and private persons to build a new paediatric hospital in Helsinki. The hospital is scheduled to open in 2017, which is the same year Finland celebrates its 100 years of independency.
