(UPM, Helsinki, October 18, 2006) - Opticom International Research ranked UPM as the best woodfree coated paper supplier among web heat set printers.
In their first independent pan-European study published in October 2006, the Stockholm-based market research institute evaluates “The Top Suppliers of Woodfree Coated Paper” in Europe. The study is based on 1 400 interviews with professional paper buyers within European printing companies.
Two main drivers define the Supplier Index: The Relative Performance Index analyses a number of service related criteria and the Loyalty Index measures the likelihood of the supplier being selected again if printers were to select a supplier of woodfree coated papers today.
UPM gained highest scores in both categories: UPM is among the companies that have the most loyal printers, and UPM is the company that best fulfils printer demands among all analysed paper suppliers.
