Work at UPM's Finnish pulp and paper mills and at converting units has started as planned after the labour dispute ended on 1 July, 2005. The production is back at the normal level. The mills' waste water treatment plants have revived successfully and their start-up has been controlled as well.
UPM's first export shipments from Finland since start-up took place on Friday, 8 July. Liner traffic between various ports will be normalised during this week.
