UPM, the world's leading producer of printing papers, will be exhibiting its full spectrum of products and services at drupa 2004. In hall 6, UPM will be showing numerous examples of applications for its magazine papers, newsprint and fine papers as well as speciality and packaging papers.
In particular, the spotlight will be on the latest developments in the gravure printing, heatset offset, sheet-fed offset and digital printing sectors. At the end of 2003, UPM presented the UPM Finesse G to the European market, the first woodfree gravure quality. The UPM Cat and UPM Lux have also been developed further and are now the whitest uncoated magazine papers in the world, as well as UPM Ultra, the world-wide largest range of high whiteness LWC papers. In addition, UPM will present UPM Matt, its unique coated paper for coldset printing. UPM will also introduce a comprehensive range for digital printing applications at drupa.
Another central theme will be the services UPM offers its customers, for instance in technical service, logistics and e-business. Tools such as online catalogues, paper calculators, extranet solutions or Expresso hubs will be explained in more detail at UPM's stand. In the UPM truck, located between halls 5 and 9 in the outdoor exhibition area, UPM's new logistics solutions will be introduced.
Furthermore, as a member of PrintCity, UPM will be in hall 6 as well as being involved in the most diverse of printing processes in other halls.
On May 13, UPM's recently appointed President and CEO Jussi Pesonen will visit drupa and meet journalists.
