The deal between UPM-Kymmene Corporation, Stromsdal Oyj and RMG Pointo Oy, published on 8 October, 2002, whereby UPM-Kymmene will sell its liquid packaging system business, is now concluded and the business has been transferred to the new owners.
Walki Can's business consists of the converting of board-based packaging materials and the subcontracting and assembling of packaging machines. The system concept also includes technical service functions and sales. The production plants are located in Valkeakoski, Finland and in Steinfurt, Germany.
