President and CEO of UPM-Kymmene Group, Mr Juha Niemelä has been elected the new Chairman of the Confederation of European Paper Industries (CEPI) from 1 January, 2000 for a two-year term.
CEPI is an Brussels-based organisation representing 17 member countries and through them some 1,000 pulp, paper and board-producing companies from all over Europe.
