Valmet to modify UPM-Kymmene's Stracel PM 1

Valmet will be the main supplier for UPM-Kymmene's Stracel PM 1 modification project. The FRF 500 million investment was announced last week. UPM-Kymmene and Valmet have made several years of successful development work with the technologies concerned.
The start-up is scheduled for the first quarter of year 2000. Arto Lampinen , M.Sc. (Eng.), has been appointed Project Director for the STRACEL 2000 -project.
