The deal between UPM-Kymmene Corporation and Rheinische Kunststoffwerke GmbH (RKW) where UPM-Kymmene on 4 September, 2000 announced to sell its PE-film and sack business-part of Rosenlew has been finalized. The transition took place on 1 January, 2001.
The deal included Rosenlew plants in Pori, Finland and in Ville-le-Marclet, France. The turnover of the plants was about EUR 74 million in 1999.
